Hello and welcome.

I'm D.K. (otherwise known as Dawn) Henderson and for many years I lived and wrote in the mystical, magical county of Wiltshire, England, surrounded by a wealth of mysterious ancient sites, including the massive enigmatic monuments of Stonehenge and Avebury.

Recently, I moved back to my roots, exchanging the wide sweeping chalk downs for rugged tors and open moorland. I now live in a beautiful little home on the fringes of Dartmoor and I'm excited to discover how this big shift in energy influences my writing. I still share my home with my crystal skull friends who inspired - and continue to inspire - The Skull Chronicles

 

When I'm not writing, you'll probably find me wandering the moors and connecting with the land and its energies, pottering in the garden, foraging in the hedgerows or following my other passion - cha cha-ing or perhaps waltzing across the dance floor.
